OUR PASTOR
Bishop Martin was baptized in Jesus name at an early age and received the Holy Ghost during his teenage years. At age 19, he heard the call to the ministry to which he told the Lord, "Yes".
Upon completion of high school, he went to college and received his degree in Performing Arts Music from the City University of New York. He continued his education and later completed his Doctorate Degree at the North Carolina School of Theology. Bishop Martin’s ministry afforded him the privilege to spend much time traveling extensively in both his music and preaching ministries. God opened many doors and as a result, Bishop Martin was blessed to minister in such countries as India, Japan, Brazil, Spain, Haiti, Nigeria and twice to Liberia. He continued to record and was blessed to accompany many renowned gospel artists.
In college Bishop Aaron Martin met and married Sister Andrea (Baskerville) Martin in 1975. They are the proud parents of two sons: Aaron III and Antwon (Yvette). They are blessed to have two granddaughters; Hannah Rose and Faith Abigail. Bishop and Lady Martin are also blessed to have living with them his devoted and loving Mother Elizabeth Martin who at age 97 just celebrated 77 years of being filled with the Holy Ghost this past October 14, 2012. In 1976, Bishop Martin became an Ordained Elder. During this time, he became a highly sought after minister of the gospel nationally and internationally due to his powerful messages of deliverance, healing and salvation. Shortly after his ordination, Bishop Martin resumed traveling as an Evangelist and later became a National Evangelist in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. Thousands have been saved, set free and delivered as a result of His ministry.
Bishop Aaron M. Martin, II continues to be devoted to the cause of Christ and in the past 38 years has travelled as a missionary around the world. He was afforded the opportunity to work in the ministry with established Christian organizations such as the Churches of our Lord Jesus Christ, The Assembly of God, The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and independently as a foreign missionary.
As a result of Bishop Martin’s world-renowned healing and deliverance ministry, he authored the much anticipated, “A Word of Deliverance” in 2011, which addresses the need for believers to live a victorious life every day. He also created a ministry podcast which ministers to thousands around the world via the internet entitled “Daily Manna” that gives messages of faith, purpose and direction.
As pastor of the Greater Bethel Temple of Deliverance in Los Angeles, California he services the masses in the heart of the city. He’s been instrumental in providing services for thousands focusing on the whole man through several community outreach events including food and clothing giveaways, job placement, free fitness and health training and mentorship opportunities to name a few. He has collaborated with several community organizations like South West Community College to house Citizenship classes, USC and the Red Cross to host several blood drives and the White House (30 Barack) to host a health fair. He is a servant of God who truly recognizes the needs in the community and makes great efforts to serve them while inspiring them to grow and develop while reaching their full potential.
As a result of his phenomenal ministry he was approached by the Impact Broadcasting Network, Inc. to host their flagship television show, “Touching You” for a season in 2010-2011. This nationally syndicated show was established to showcase national heroes who have been there for their respective communities. Bishop Martin embraced the challenge of hosting a show that makes a difference. He was determined to have this television show positively touch everyone who viewed. The show was a phenomenal hit pulling in record viewer numbers for the network.

Martin, II is a chosen vessel and an instrument of God who has been charged with the responsibility to expand and reach the nations and the world. Bishop Aaron M. Martin, II was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Deacon and Mother Aaron Martin. At an early age, Bishop Martin became active in his local church. The assembly had not had a consistent musician for several years and they were praying that God would send one. Little did they know that God was raising up a musician within their midst. It was at the age of seven that Dr. Martin was considered a childhood prodigy and became the church musician.
